Personal Message

Fred T. Fox, Jr. is a sole practitioner in Lawton, Oklahoma, practicing full time since 1969. Fred has two bachelor’s degrees and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate, tax, elder care, business valuations and expert witness services. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, Comanche County Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, American Association of Attorney-CPAs, and North Texas Estate and Financial Planning Council.

Mr. Fox’s business interests include developing and owning commercial rental real estate. He has owned a retail SCUBA store, served as a member of the board of directors and as a member of a loan committee of a bank.

Mr. Fox has also taught several classes at Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma, was an instructor for the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants in the continuing education program and taught courses for Continuing Education for Life Insurance Agents through the local chapter of National Life Underwriters. He has been interviewed numerous times for local radio and television programs to discuss tax matters and legislation. In the past he has had speaking engagements in the Southwest Oklahoma area on estate planning, legal, tax and business topics, as well as in the Grand Caymen Island, B.W.I and in Las Vegas, Nevada, on taxes.

As a public service, he prepares a column, "Tax Tips," for publication in the Lawton Constitution each Sunday. This column contains information regarding tax savings and planning tips and other valuable information.

Mr. Fox currently has two employees, Karee Curtis and Melissa Williamson.

Karee is employed as a staff accountant and has been working for Fred since 1981. Karee graduated from Oklahoma Christian College, Edmond, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Melissa is employed as a receptionist/legal assistant and has been employed since 1997. Melissa graduated from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree.
