Good Morning…
It is said that March comes “in like a lion and out like a lamb.” Well the lion part has certainly held true! Here’s to hoping March stays in character… we’re looking forward to the lamb-like exit.
We’re excited because this Saturday, March 7th is The Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter’s 1st annual Brain Ball.
Sharon has been busy chairing the event and many others at the firm are volunteering their time to help out. Law firm administrator Al Gatti, who is also the President of the CT Alzheimer’s Association, said the Brain Ball will raise the profile of Alzheimer’s disease and the toll it takes on families in Connecticut. On Tuesday, March 10, ACES Regional Transition Network, State Education Resource Center (SERC), and the CT Department of Education will sponsor a resource fair for both students with disabilities and their parents. It will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton, 275 Research Parkway, Meriden. Please stop in to meet some great people and businesses who can help with the transition process. And make sure to stop by our table and say hello to Sharon and Claudia.
On March 12, Sharon will be giving a talk on Planning for Children with special needs for the ASRC (Autism Services & Resources CT). Her presentation is 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Center for Special Needs in Glastonbury. If you’d like to attend, contact Maria Lehane with ASRC at maria@autismconnecticut.org.
From all of us to all of you – have a great day.
