The trust should be portable, but you can’t be absolutely sure because each state evaluates trusts using its own criteria. If you know where you might move, you should consult with an attorney from that state before signing the trust. If you’re not sure, have the trust reviewed when you move to the new state. Find an attorney to help you with the trust.
