In the uplifting spirit of the "Fireside Chats" popularized by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to instill Americans with hope and comfort, we instituted a series of lectures entitled "Fireside Chats" designed to offer valuable legal advice to family members in matters of long-term care planning and financial security.  Each "Fireside Chat" is structured as a Q & A event, held in the relaxed parlor setting of our Yorktown Heights office, by the warm glow of a fireplace.  Remaining dates are January 14th at 3:00 p.m.; January 26th at 6:00 p.m.; and February 9th at 6:00 p.m.  Please contact Melanie at 914-925-1010 to R.S.V.P.  This event is open to the public but you must R.S.V.P. and seats are limited.

On January 17th, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Mr. Di Costanzo will be lecturing for the Port Chester/Rye Bar Association being held Pasquale's Ristorante in Port  Chester, New York.  The topic will be "Medicaid Planning for Crisis Scenarios"  This lecture is open to attorneys.

On January 18th, at 2:00 p.m., Mr. Di Costanzo will be lecturing at the Harrison Public Library located at Two Madison Avenue, West Harrison, New York.  The topic will be "Nuts and Bolts of Estate and Long Term Care Planning: Working With an Elder Law Attorney to Protect Your Assets". This lecture is open to the public but registration is required.  Please contact the Harrison Public Library at 948-2902.

On January 24th, Mr. Di Costanzo will be co-chairing the annual meeting for the New York State Bar Association's Elder Law and Special Needs Section being held at the New York Hilton Midtown.  This event is closed to the public
