Community Conversation In Review
|
|
|
Peck Ritchey was busy this fall educating residents and professionals in the Chicagoland community on a number of important issues surrounding aging and estate planning. With a collective 20 speaking engagements this season, our most popular topics were:
1. Sex for Signatures - Preying on Seniors.
This hot topic helps the community understand elder abuse and how to stop or prevent it, lack of capacity, Power of Attorney documents, financial exploitation, and guardianship.
2. Legal and Financial Considerations for the Future.
This presentation focused on the importance of advanced planning while still involving people with Alzheimer's Disease, becoming familiar with legal and financial issues that arise as a result of the Alzheimer's diagnosis and tools for making plans now.
If you are interested in having Peck Ritchey speak in your community, please contact Marketing Coordinator, Lauren Muttschall, at lmuttschall@peckritchey.com.

In addition to the research funding increase, the bill includes $10 million to implement the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act (P.L. 115-406).
