Illinois Update: Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul has issued a voter guide for individuals with disabilities. In Illinois, people with disabilities are entitled to fair and equal opportunities in all aspects of their lives, including voting. The Illinois Election Code provides specific rights for voters with disabilities. The guide specifically details those rights. Office Update: Upcoming speaking engagement. Our very own Katie Lenert is scheduled to present at the following National Business Institute's upcoming course: "Medicaid Planning: The Complete Toolkit for Attorneys" on September 27, 2022. Although this is a legal course designed with attorneys in mind, accountants, estate and financial planners, nursing home administrators, investment advisers, continued care managers, and paralegals will also benefit.
