❤️HAPPY HEART MONTH!!❤️
February has, once again, been declared American Heart Month, with the proclamation issued on January 31, 2023, by President Biden. The month of February has been designated as American Heart Month, every year since 1964, when President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first proclamation declaring it as such.
Heart Month is dedicated to increasing awareness for conditions that effect hearts of all sizes, both congenital and acquired heart disease and defects. To help bring attention and awareness to both congenital and other heart health issues, the month kicks off with National Wear Red Day, on Friday, February 3rd. Won’t you join us in wearing red on February 3rd, as we celebrate the courage and strength of those battling heart disease and/or defects each and every day, and as we honor the memories of those who we have lost?
We would love to know who you will be honoring and/or remembering when you wear red on February 3rd. If you would like to share with us the name and/or story of who you will be honoring by wearing red on National Wear Red Day, and throughout the month of February, simply reply to this email.
