Article Highlights & Program Announcement

As summer sunsets give way to the colors of autumn, September is a natural time to look ahead and prepare for what may be around the corner. This month, we highlight several important issues affecting older adults and their families, including what to do when Medicare coverage is ending, protecting loved ones from elder abuse and increasingly sophisticated scams, and understanding the latest outlook for Social Security.

We are also pleased to announce the upcoming Estate Planning 101: Protect Your Family’s Future program. Our law firm is, once again, partnering with the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley and Old Second National Bank to offer this educational program to the community. Both Catherine Lenert and Lydia Park are featured speakers. This educational program will offer practical information to help individuals and families better understand the estate planning process and the importance of having an appropriate plan in place.
