Patricia Dudek has received several honors recently for her dedication as an attorney for seniors and people with disabilities.
Dudek has been named to the Michigan Super Lawyers list as one of the top lawyers in the state for 2011. Super Lawyers are chosen through peer review and independent research and includes a select few attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
DBusiness, Detroit’s Premier Business Journal, has named Dudek a Top Lawyer for 2012 and she is featured in the September 26, 2011 publication. To create the Top Lawyers list, DBusiness polls more than 15,000 attorneys asking them to nominate their peers, and Dudek is proud to be among the winners.
Best Lawyers has named Dudek as a Michigan Lawyer of the Year for 2012. Recipients of this honor are selected by receiving high ratings from their peers, demonstrating that she has earned the respect of those in her field.
Dudek has additionally been named to the 2012 list of Top Attorneys in Michigan by the New York Times; a commendation she is honored to receive. And with her hard earned superb rating on Avvo, Dudek is the highest rated elder law attorney in her area.
As a result of Dudek’s hard work and excellent reputation, she was selected to be a National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Fellow. She is also a member of NAELA’s Council of Advanced Practitioners, a membership available only to preeminent elder law attorneys who have made substantial contributions to elder or special needs law.
Dudek is the principal of Patricia E. Kefalas Dudek & Associates, a practice concentrating in elder law, Medicaid and estate planning, estates/trust administration, probate, administrative law, and disability advocacy. She has served on the board of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, the Bonnell Foundation, and United Cerebral Palsy.org. Dudek is a devoted advocate known for her perseverance and passion.
