The general rule is that any transfer can cause a period of ineligibility for Medicaid. But since the payments to you were for services you provided, your grandmother should not be subject to this penalty. However, it will be a matter of your proving to the Medicaid agency that you provided necessary services and that the $200 a week was reasonable payment for the work you provided.
