Welcome to the September issue of the

Texas Elder Law E-letter

DON’T FORGET, the Alzheimer's Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer's will be held this weekend on Saturday, October 1st.  If you wish to be a part of our walk team, "Michael's Marchers" (whether or not you walk or contribute), for the benefit of the Alzheimer's Association, you may sign up on our website at www.dallaselderlawyer.com or click here to register online. We would love to have you join us. Again, you do not need to walk or contribute or even be there, we would just love your support to help fight this terrible disease which will only grow as our population ages if we don't do something about it. Also, if you are interested in more information about the Alzheimer's Association, you can get their newsletter with the following link: http://www.alz.org/apps/email_signup.asp.

Michael B. Cohen’s September interview (in connection with planning once someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s) on iHeart Media can be heard on our podcasts, which are at the following links: http://dallaselderlawyer.com/podcast/september-4th-2016-part-1/ and  http://dallaselderlawyer.com/podcast/september-4th-2016-part-2/ There is also a special podcast of our radio show with fitness guru, Donna Richardson Joiner, on her own experience with her father’s Alzheimer’s.
