MESSAGE FROM OUR OFFICE

A couple of weeks ago I attended an advanced Special Needs Trust Conference in Florida discussing planning and drafting tips for Special Needs Trusts, ABLE Accounts, Pooled Trusts, and the like. It was a little difficult to return from the 80° weather in Florida to the weather we now have in Wisconsin. As they say in the game of thrones: "Winter is coming."

November also brings us several important National Days. November 3rd is the end of daylight savings time. November 10th is the birthday for the US Marine Corps, and November 11th is Veterans Day. November 15th is National Philanthropy Day, November 20th is National Absurdity Day (no not election day), November 28th is Thanksgiving, and of course November 29th is Black Friday, as well as "buy nothing day". Finally, November 30th is Small Business Saturday, and we join in encouraging everyone to support our small local businesses.

In honor of the holidays, our office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving so our employees can spend time with their families.
